The Whitechapel Gallery, East London

This vibrant illustration features the beautiful Art Nouveau style of the Whitechapel Gallery, East London. The gallery was founded in 1901 and was designed by Charles Harrison Townsend, a well-known Victorian architect who also designed the Horniman Museum and the Bishopsgate Institute.

Part of the gallery building once stood as the Passmore Edwards Library. The Victorian Philanthropist John Passmore Edwards established a foundation which funded a number of public libraries and educational institutions around London, particularly for the benefit of the working classes. John Passmore Edwards can be seen to the right hand side of the illustration, helping people up the social ladder.

Illustration and Design Project for Benito’s Hat

A range of promotional material was created for Benito’s Hat, London. I designed posters, menus and created murals for the Mexican restaurant chain.

King’s Cross Railway Station Concourse Illustration

A vibrant illustration featuring one of London's busiest transport hubs.

King’s Cross Station is located on the edge of central London, in the borough of Camden. The station opened in 1852 and has seen many changes over the years. In 2005, a 500 million pound restoration project was announced by Network Rail to rejuvenate several areas of the station. The western concourse finally reopened in 2012, boasting a spectacular and perfectly formed diagrid roof structure.
